My family took our first visit to Colorado and wanted to stay near Durango and for a great price with our pet. We are so grateful we found this beautiful home and greatly enjoyed our stay. The scenery is amazing and the backyard leads right into the beautiful sand canyon trail. The home looked brand new and had everything that we needed. We cooked all of our meals and had more than enough pots and pans. The hosts are very helpful and responsive and even on New Year’s Eve Bruce responded quickly to all of my requests. We look forward to our next trip back and will definitely book here again!

We rented this place for Christmas and it was the best air bnb we have been too. There were 5 adults and 2 dogs. The ease of access was amazing. The walkability for hikes is brilliant. The pups has a doggie door to go in and out of the fenced in yard. The beds were comfortable, with all 5 of us commenting on how good of sleep we got, and the closets were well stocked with any additional things you might need for sleep. The pillows were also comfortable. We appreciated the level of detail and intention these hosts have in this place. The views were stunning everywhere you look. We fully expect to be back. 100,000% recommend this place to anyone needing an incredible peaceful getaway.

Five stars! Such a wonderful place to stay — we are from the area and chose this home to stay in to visit family. It truly captured the beauty of the southwest! The stunning views, beautiful and clean houses, and convenient access to trails were incredible. The house was full of the essentials and more — it made our trip effortless. We were able to hike right out the gate in the back and enjoyed the ease of being close to the house, especially with two little ones in tow. The decks and large windows provided breathtaking views and we loved waking up/ seeing the sun set on such an awe-inspiring view. The house was marvelous, a tub for our little ones and a spa-like shower for us! It was well-kept and spotless. Thank you again for having us — we will remember this trip for years to come!

Awesome spot to relax and get away with access to unique hiking. The guesthouse was great for our small family, wish we’d stayed a few days longer! It is a ways out of town, ideal as an escape / retreat to slow down and enjoy.
Hosts were super attentive and great communicators.
